Please be aware that all credit card returns are subject to a 4% refund fee, and all full and partial refunds are issued in the form of a company check. Stock Jewelry: Stock jewelry sold from our inventory must be in its original and unused condition. Items showing any signs of wear or alterations by parties other than Boston Diamond Studio will not be accepted. No returns are permitted after 14 days from the original invoice date. After this period, please refer to our buyback policy.
Stock Rings: Stock rings sold from our inventory must also be in their original and unused condition. Items showing any signs of wear or alterations by a jeweler other than Boston Diamond Studio will not be accepted. No returns are allowed after 7 days from the original invoice date. After 7 days, please consult our buyback policy.
Made to Order Rings and Jewelry: Made-to-order pieces are non-refundable and are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Please refer to our return policy for more details.
Custom-Made Rings and Jewelry: Custom-made pieces are non-refundable and are subject to a minimum restocking fee of 50%. Please consult our buyback policy for more information.
Diamonds or Gemstones from Our Inventory: Large diamonds and gemstones are fully refundable as long as they are in their original condition and are returned with the original grading report within 14 days from the original invoice date. After 14 days, please refer to the buyback policy.
Diamonds or Gemstones Sourced and Invoiced per Customer Request: Large diamonds and gemstones sourced and invoiced per customer request must be in their original condition and returned with the original grading report within 14 days from the original invoice date. A 25% restocking fee will be applied. After 14 days, please consult our buyback policy.
Buyback Policy: Used, altered, worn, or non-refundable rings and jewelry can be repurchased as recycled materials. Large diamonds may be bought back between 30-90% of the original sale price, depending on market demand, as long as they are in their original condition and returned with the original grading report. Our buyback policy only applies to GIA/AGS graded diamonds, not the engagement ring or other jewelry, which will be assessed and bought back accordingly. Boston Diamond Studio reserves the right to refuse the repurchase of any items.
Diamond Upgrade Program: At Boston Diamond Studio, we understand that your style and desires may evolve over time. We welcome all customers who originally purchased natural diamonds from our stores to explore the option of upgrading to a new, natural, and upgraded diamond. To be eligible for this program, the diamond must be in the same condition as it was when originally sold, and you must provide the original receipt and certificate. The value of the diamond will be assessed at the time of the trade, taking into consideration our current inventory and prevailing market conditions. Please note that all diamonds submitted for trade are subject to approval.
It’s important to mention that lab-grown diamonds are not eligible for this program.
